I'm working on a character that has to represent a company, their work and ideas. And the plan is that he will be the letter 'i' in their logo. Drawing a character in various positions really makes it alive and he asked me to show him to the world. We thought a little disguise would be good, not to spoil anything for our client.

Not sure where this will end up, but I like it and wanted to share it now before it disappears in a pile of other stuff. I tend to start things and not finish them. Btw: I did this at work between all the webmastering. What might happen if I had time to really work on something?

Believe it. Adam Smith made an animation based on my Brickboy character and the designs Vinnie did for them. It's great (and weird) to see my little guy walk around. Somehow Brickboy has an attraction that you can not design, it's there or it's not. Well, now just watch that movie. It's great!

Remember that as a kid you got these huge presents? Giant boxes that became smaller as you grew and got older. Today I had the old feeling again when my Bertie came in. Big box with a big toy for me. I had to take some shots and there will be some more.

Our friendly intern asked if I could design a logo for him, I said yes and wanted to do something quick and easy. As if quick and easy exists. I got carried away... And that fast ballpoint sketch I, just asked to be rebuild from scratch in Illustrator. I hadn't done straight vector stuff for a while and it was fun. Like I said, I got carried away. Yesterday I got a package from Kenn Munk with his 'Designer's Cut' Kaniza figure. He re-worked six of his figures and gave it a worn, used look. Like a crashed bikerscoout from Starwars. I've made a new character for a client and called it Boxer since it's, well...a box. Tuesday it has to be ready, so that leaves just tomorrow for approval and final tweaking. And come up with an idea for packaging.

2 friends hit level 40 and as a gift I drew over their invitation for a special CD. My brother collected songs about 40 earlier, so I used those. And we started another collaboration as well, but more about that later.
