Heavy Vinyl!

About a week ago a colleague came in with some old records for Ron. There was some old metal on the pile so I took a peek as well. And then there it was....
Iron maiden's Live after Death!

The best metal album ever and it turned my world upside down when I was 10 years old.
I've spend quite some hours listening to the guitar riffs, reading the mystical lyrics and looking at the amazing photo's of their World Slavery tour.
My life would never be the same and I thank my brother for bringing it into our house and releasing me from mediocre pop hell.
And now it's mine. Not in a very good condition and the booklet is missing, but I've got it.
Scream for me Longbeach arena!!

Also in the pile was Somewhere in Time. It sounds a bit outdated now but the Derek Riggs cover is still awesome.

Oh, I also bought a new Hotwheel.

Custom shots

This is Ron taking shots of my latest custom toy. Although I know they will look great, I can't wait to see em.

Holy Scud!

Mostly I write about stuff I do or buy. Not today. Today I learned that:
1 Scud the disposable assassin comicbook will be finish with the last 4 issues dropping soon.
2 A Scud toy is in production and the first shots look superb!

I started reading Scud when the first issue hit and in 1998 it suddenly stopped. Now Rob Scrab finally will end this great series.
I will read the book and buy the toy, so this post is still about me actually...

A Scud PEZ dispenser I once made.

Finally new stuff!

Our camera broke down and I wasn't doing much. Now we have a new camera (with super macro for those cool close-ups!) and I somehow found new energy to do some work.
So here we go:

My wife bought me these instant classic speakers for my pc. They sound like crap but with looks like this, who cares?!

I bought my first 2 Ma.Kub (Kubrick Maschinen Krieger) in Portugal about 3 years ago and always regretted not buying them all. This year I found some more and I will probably buy the others at some time. These 2 boxes make a nice display, with custom backdrops of course. The MaK. box artwork is really cool.

Milk & Cheese! Another gift from my wife to keep me happy until I would get Evan Dorkin's Milk & Cheese toys.

2 toys I have been thinking about for at least a year. The Trapir is a follow up to my Volkswalker and is a gift for someone. The Teddy Trooper is for someone who gave it to me do have fun with and send it back whenever I was done. That was almost 2 years ago and I hope I still have his email address (Idse it's yours!)
I think both will be very cool and I'm kinda sad that I will have to give these up. Oh well, it's for a good cause...
