Last of the birthday score: Rustboy and some crazy Gundam kit.
Again a Matchbox, with faux custom paint and finally a Hotwheels Lincoln Continental. A bit too low to my taste, but nothing I can't fix.
And then this...These are about the best toys based on a comic ever. Huge chunks of smelly vinyl, rugged like their drawn examples.
Look at him!
And since I am a silly fanboy, I like my toys signed.

There is also a doodle by Evan that is colored by their 3 year old daughter Emily. How cool is that?!

Huge thankyous to Evan, Sarah and Emily!

Now what?

My entry for the Bitters & Sweets show has been sent off to the US. Way to late, but it's gone.
The Dunny exhibition is running, so no need to worry about that.
Luuk is better and eating again, stress at work will be over in a few days and when my inlaws go back home in 2 days we'll have the house to ourselves again.
It feels really good not having to work on something or stress over stuff and just enjoy the freedom. That probably means I'll start working on one of the fifteenmilion ideas that are screaming in my head and get tangled up in selfmade deadlines again...

Ps: I'll/I've added the Eric So Hellboy figure to my wishlist. That beast is catching my attention since day one!

Designer toy expo

I'm hosting a Dunny exhibition at my favorite comicshop in Enschede. Some great customs are on display plus some goodies to educate the masses. Even while it's just one showcase I'm quite happy with the overall result. Mr. Munk was so kind to send over a new custom 'triptych' that rocks.

More pics here, some are less blurry.

Hi-fructose: Bitters & Sweets

Hi-Fructose magazine is hosting a group exhibition of artists that have made stuff for the magazine.
Seeing my name on the same list as: Ashley Wood, Glen Barr, Bwana Spoons and Mars-1 (to name a few) is kinda scary.
Bitters and Sweets opens November 6.
